Privacy Policy

This policy explains how 24cv, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman ("24cv", "we") handles your personal data when you use this website. We process personal data under Oman's Personal Data Protection Law, issued by Royal Decree 6/2022, and its Executive Regulations, issued by Ministerial Decision 34/2024.

What we collect
- Your email address, to create your account and send you sign-in links and receipts. If you opt in, we also send one reminder about an unfinished CV and one before your free changes end. We don't use passwords. You can start without an email: your work is then tied to this browser only, you add an email before paying, and if you never do, it is deleted once your sign-in session ends (30 days at most). We keep the IP address you started from for one day, to limit misuse.
- What you tell us in the interview: your name, contact details, education, work history, skills, languages and any other details you choose to share, such as nationality, visa status or notice period.
- CVs you upload for an ATS check: we read the text from the file and then discard the file itself. We keep the text, the job title and job description you paste in, and the report.
- Your photo, only if you add one. It is used only on the recruiter version of your CV.
- Order records: what you bought, the amount, the date and the payment reference. Your card details go directly to Thawani; we never see or store them.
- Technical data: your IP address, used to limit abuse of sign-in, and your IP address and browser type at the moment you give consent, kept as a record of that consent.
We use one cookie to keep you signed in. If you open 24cv from a link a friend shared, a second cookie notes where the link came from (for example “wa” for WhatsApp) until you sign up, so we know how people find us. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give on the consent screen before your first interview, and only to:
- run the interview and write your CV and the files you download;
- check CVs you upload and prepare the ATS check report;
- take payment and keep the financial records the law requires;
- sign you in and keep your account secure;
- answer you when you contact us.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
We use these service providers. Each one receives only what it needs for its task.

Anthropic provides the AI model under its commercial terms for business customers, which do not allow it to use our customers' data to train its models.
Transfers outside Oman
Anthropic, Render, Neon, Resend process your data outside Oman, in the countries listed above. Under the Executive Regulations, we ask for your express consent to this before you start; the second box on the consent screen records it. If you don't consent, we can't provide the service, because the interview and the hosting both run outside Oman. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account.
How long we keep it
- Interview chat: deleted 90 days after you buy the CV. The finished CV stays so you can download it again.
- Unfinished, unpaid CVs: deleted after 90 days without activity.
- ATS checks: the uploaded file is never stored. The text read from it, the job description and the report are deleted 90 days after the check.
- Finished CVs and your account: until you delete them.
- Sign-in links: valid for 15 minutes and deleted after a day. Sign-in sessions end after 30 days.
- Order records: kept as long as Omani commercial and tax law requires. When you delete your account they are no longer linked to you.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Law you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct or update it;
- delete it;
- stop processing it, by withdrawing your consent.
You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, at any time, from Account. For anything else, email support@24cv.om from the address you sign in with. If you are unhappy with how we handled your request, you can complain to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, which oversees the law.
Security
All traffic is encrypted. Sign-in links and session cookies are stored only as one-way hashes, so a copy of our database can't be used to sign in as you. Downloads are created on request and are available only to your account. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
Age
You must be 18 or older to use 24cv.
Changes
If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and ask for your consent again before you continue.
